Ads for Lost Girl have been plastered all over the subway station near work. I liked that character labled “the Siren” was a dude, so I thought I’d start watching it.
It’s got a real “female sexuality as power” thing going on. In the teaser of the first episode the lead character, Bo, kills a date rapist. Seems pretty gay-positive too.
I like the dialogue.
It’s clearly shot in Toronto; I wonder if it’s set here?
I liked the first episode, think I’ll keep watching it.
